HOPE | Jewellery pieces symbolise hope in the fight against violence

In partnership with APAV (Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vitima), the jewellery store Collectiva (of which I am one of the founders) in Porto, presents during the months of December and January, the HOPE collection - a solitary edition of jewellery pieces created exclusively for Christmas, with the purpose of raising funds for this institution.

For each jewel sold, the 10 jewellery brands that are part of Collectiva will contribute 50% of the value to APAV

We aim to raise awareness of the fight against the various forms of violence present in society and which are still silenced.

We wanted, at this specific time of the year, when there seems to be greater faith in change, that buying a jewellery piece could mean more than an act of consumption or adornment. APAV, like others, is an association with fundamental work in situations of risk, but which unfortunately deals with victims which quite often are silented. It is necessary that people trust the work of these professionals of this institution, that they believe, that they dispel fear and do not silence abuses. May we all have hope.”- emphasise one of my colleagues.

Under the motto “Hope” (hope, believe), each one of us have created at least two unique and unpublished jewellery pieces, simultaneously representative of our brands and, at the same time, a symbol of the collective spirit of the our store and the festive season.
